Marceline marching in the air
Marceline Abadeer is a 1000 year old half vampire half demon who instead of drinking blood, consumes the color red. Marceline is the first Vampire Drum Major of the Memorial Band.
Early Life[]
Before joining band Marceline was an inhabitant of the land of Ooo 1000 years in the future. As a little girl Marceline experienced the Nuclear Holocaust, resulting in the near extinction of all Human life on Earth. ecame a Vampire after being attacked and bitten by the Vampire King. She made a guitar out of her abusive father's axe, which was the only thing he ever gave her, and fell in love with music.
Joining Band[]
Marceline would later reunite with Simon later in the finale after he got almost got eaten by a malevolent space god which helped him reevaluate his life and become sane again. As an apology he gave her a time machine that let her relive life in the modern day before the nuclear holocaust. She was zoned to memorial high school, and decided on joining the music program. Not only did she join band but also Orchesta and choir, making her and Brian Ngyuen the only cool people in Orchestra.
Marceline while using her time machine also traveled to 1969 and went to the moon
